Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterer to join our team at the East Midlands Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering tasks to maintain and improve council properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plastering work on council properties, including repairs, maintenance, and new installations.
• Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying bonding agents.
• Mix and apply various types of plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and council staff to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and address any concerns or queries.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plasterer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in plastering.
• Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
