About the Role:We are recruiting on behalf of our Tier 1 client for an experienced Freelance Planner to join their team for upcoming civil projects in the water sector. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in water or utilities projects, who can bring their expertise to a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for civil projects in the water sector.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and present them to the client and internal teams.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a planner on water or utilities projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, APM) are a plus.
