Job Description
(salary 13 TV-L, 100 %) You will work in a multidisciplinary team on collaborative research projects envisioned by leading international experts from various domains. This PhD position will be jointly supervised by an interdisciplinary team consisting of Prof. Nils Köbis (University Duisburg-Essen), Prof. Muhammad Bilal Zafar (Ruhr-Univer-sity Bochum) and Prof. Lucie Flek (University of Bonn). Our research aims to bridge theoretical advance-ments and practical applications in the whelm of Large Language Models. Your responsibilities Conduct research that systematically examines outputs of Large Language Models (LLMs) Design and execute controlled behavioral experiments to assess how outputs by LLMs affect human cooperative and ethical behavior Fine-tune models for experimentation Independently analyze quantitative data Collaborate with researchers from different disciplines to develop innovative approaches for human-centered use of LLMs. Your qualifications Excellent degree (Master of Science) in computer science, psychology, communication sci-ence, information systems, statistics, or related fields. High degree of creativity, commitment, and analytical competence. Motivation to work in interdisciplinary teams.
