Snr Engagement & Insights Manager| 6 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Hybrid | Starting ASAP

Day Rate: £345

About the Role:

Reporting to our Culture and Engagement Lead, within the Performance, Engagement & Development team, the Senior Engagement & Insights Manager is responsible for the delivery of our colleague engagement strategy across the business. Whist the role focuses on colleague engagement, the role holder will be experienced in considering how our work & behaviours impact the end-user (customers), by working through a customer-centric lens with diversity, equity & inclusion at the heart of all we do. Their work will contribute to the delivery of the business's overarching strategic purpose, vision & strategy in line with the team goals aligned with the People Strategy.

Working closely with our Heads of HR, Business Leaders, Engagement Reps, and HR & Comms colleagues, the role holder will help us make data led decisions focused on helping us achieve our purpose of Making You Happier About Money by presenting insight from various sources.

The role holder will be responsible for communicating colleague experience insights to senior leaders, our internal networks and to all colleagues through various methods. To achieve this, there is a requirement to understand the group-wide comms plans and engagement topics, and therefore they will also collaborate with Comms colleagues to ensure alignment of comms and with governance structures.

The role holder will lead on key change initiatives and ensure the conscientious end-to-end project planning, coordination and delivery of engagement initiatives and processes, including methodically managing the annual and quarterly colleague experience surveys, data collection, analysis and reporting insights, with the support of our survey partners. They will also be experienced in confidently communicating and disseminating findings to stakeholders at all levels of the Bank.

Main Duties:

Deliver Annual MyVoice and Pulse Surveys in support of overarching business strategic drivers

Work with HRLT, ELT and other key stakeholders to set the themes/questions for each quarterly approach, with oversight from the Culture & Engagement Lead.

Insights & Trend Analysis

Regularly analyse & report on emerging and Legacy trends to consider and improve engagement initiatives, identify and increase areas of low engagement and sustain high levels of engagement. Identify concerns & areas that contribute to risk to our culture and engagement & report these efficiently. Create trend analysis which monitors the ongoing progress of strategic themes and align hierarchy reporting to facilitate. Collaboratively build insights and solutions across other VM data sources using latest software, (eg Excel and Power BI) to effectively measure, monitor and report on culture and engagement insights.

LT, Board and Business Unit Reporting

Consult with, lead and facilitate knowledge and understanding of engagement, scoring, results etc. with senior teams across the organisation - providing deep dive insights on complex issues, and recommendations for action.

Engagement Role Model

Build and inspire our network of business unit engagement reps/teams to drive local action and progress in line with engagement strategy. Management of the Engagement rep programme and continuous improvement and positive influence to ensure engagement and commitment.

Keeping up to date with sector best practice, sharing knowledge and expertise across the team and wider organisation, being informed of current and emerging regulations, reading and acting on relevant FCA & PRA and other financial advisory forums to ensure compliance, policy changes are communicated and integrated into daily practice and working on personal and professional development.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Pulse survey and annual surveys with respective data insights & actions.
  • Culture dashboard data and insights.
  • Successful and positive delivery of Workforce engagement events.
  • Experience in working at a senior level within a commercial context with an ability to be seen as an effective SME and trusted adviser in the field of employee engagement.
  • Experience in designing and executing effective employee engagement programmes.
  • Track record in affecting strategic change and driving business performance through cultural change and improved culture related metrics.
  • Experience in operationalising employee opinion surveys. Analysing data, creating reports and disseminating results in an accessible, clear and concise way and embedding the engagement measurements as a way of working for colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience in designing and managing organisational processes.
  • Experience working in a commercial and corporate environment with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Experience in proactively creating strong relationships with stakeholders across a business.
  • Experience of working on competing deadlines, prioritising workload and successful delivery of projects, events and reports.
  • Experience of influencing upwards and across, embedding new and improved ways of working and implementing efficient processes. Advanced Excel skills and ability to collect, manipulate, interpret data and communicate results to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Working knowledge of other HR and communication related disciplines.
  • Commercial experience and business acumen.
  • Strong influencing, engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging Engagement best practices and legislation and how this can be leveraged.
  • Proven ability to balance and manage strategic fit between people resources and initiatives with overall business strategy and goals.
  • Understanding of current corporate engagement culture and political dynamics.
