We have an exciting opportunity for a People Development Advisor to join our team within Vistry Services, we are flexible on location, you can be based out of any of our UK offices. As our People Development Advisor, you will act as a people development subject matter expert, partnering with the people team and business stakeholders to source, supply and deliver people development and digital learning solutions.

    • Strong knowledge of various training methodologies

    • Support the organisation, design and implementation of people development initiatives including leadership and management development programmes, workshops and webinars.
    • Seek creative, blended learning solutions to meet people development needs.
    • Workshop design and delivery for employees and managers.
    • Support the continuous enhancement of successor development.
    • Work with a strategic mindset to challenge existing programmes and processes, in order to continually improve and enhance the people development offering.
    • Ensure transparency of people development solutions through high quality reporting, using the findings to identify solutions to improve the people development processes.
    • To provide support and back up to People Development Partners. This role would ideally suit someone with aspirations to progress and grow as our organisation does.
    • Work as a trusted advisor to find appropriate learning and development solutions for our internal stakeholders.
    • Conduct training needs assessments with internal stakeholders and the wider People function, identifying and recommending appropriate solutions.
    • Assess and evaluate the ongoing suitability and success of existing development programmes, track alumni progress and report on attrition and promotions.
    • Source external innovations in learning and development, utilising the company L&D budget to maximise the offerings.
    • Coordinate the leadership development processes and liaise with People Development Partners to support the internal nomination processes.
    • Design, develop and deliver blended learning solutions, utilising the company's LMS Cornerstone to build and roll-out bespoke e-learning.
    • Lead on mandatory e-learning processes on company's LMS 'Vistry Learn' and monitoring including the annual compliance training refreshers.
    • Design and deliver virtual and in-person training, development and upskilling programmes, aligned to meet organizational objectives.
    • Guide, coach and advise people managers on best practice management and leadership, promoting a culture of high performance, psychological safety, belonging and inclusion at Vistry.
    • Support in the creation of a learning and development solution for every part of the employee lifecycle.
    • Continuously improve training content, utilise emerging technologies, seeking and responding to employee and manager feedback to design new and creative solutions.
    • Provide regular board or business updates on people development activities, via reports or dashboards.
    • Design and develop functional career pathways, successor development initiatives and support progressive individuals to identify and fill development gaps.
    • Work closely with the People Development Partners, Future Talent and Organisational Development teams and Vistry DE&I networks to plan and deliver on learning initiatives to help meet organisational objectives.
    • Understand and track the people development budget.
    • Build relationships with relevant external networks to research and build upon ideas for organizational development initiatives.
    • Manage, support and develop the People Development Administrator.
