PART-Time: SAP German-speaking FI/CO consultant - Remote/Germany - 3months +

Nicholas Bernard is looking for a qualified German-speaking FI/CO Consultant for an exciting SAP project.

Project Name: Conversion to Cost of Sales Accounting and IFRS
Project Location: NW Germany (Remote with occasional travel)
Project Language: German + English
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st May 2025 (Potential for extension)
Distribution Effort: 3 days per week

Key Skills Required:

• General Finance expertise
• IFRS mapping
• Reporting and illustration for IFRS
• UKV reporting

Project Scope:
The consultant will support the conversion to cost of sales accounting and IFRS reporting for a multinational project. The project involves addressing valuation differences across multiple financial areas and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement IFRS mapping and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and illustrate reporting processes for IFRS and UKV.
• Collaborate on valuation adjustments across critical financial areas such as:
  • Fixed Assets
  • Stock Valuation
  • Provisions
  • Foreign Currency Valuation
  • Leasing (IFRS 16)
  • Derivatives

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as an FI/CO consultant with a strong foundation in SD, MM, and PP modules.
• Proven track record in IFRS conversion and financial reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment with occasional travel as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in areas with valuation differences.
• Fluency in German and English.
