The General Dental Council (GDC) is recruiting for a Paralegal to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is Hybrid minimum 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £34,735 - £40,864 per annum.

To achieve this, we register qualified dental professionals, set standards for the dental team, investigate complaints about dental professionals' fitness to practise, and work to ensure the quality of dental education.

About the role of Paralegal:

Responsibilities as our Paralegal will include:
- Administering a caseload of Fitness to Practise cases.
- Ensuring that all actions are taken in a timely manner, under the guidance of a prosecution lawyer.
- Preparing documents and witness statements.
- Undertaking legal research.
- Dealing with verbal and written correspondence.
- Ensuring records are accurately maintained.
About you:
If you can demonstrate the following skills and experience, we would like to hear from you:
- Relevant legal experience.
- Previous healthcare regulation experience.
- Legal qualification.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong legal drafting and analytical skills.
