PA to the Head of Secondary

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, polished and solutions-focused individual to take on a pivotal role within our secondary school, working all year round with our Head of Secondary. In this role, you will provide high-quality, confidential work of a secretarial and administrative nature. Working in a collegiate way with the PA to the Head of Primary, the wider school team and Trust, you will be required to communicate effectively with governors, staff, students, parents and outside agencies. This exciting and varied position would suit an individual who is able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills whilst working in a busy school environment.

To be successful, you will:

• use your own initiative;
• ideally, have some previous administrative/PA/front-of-house experience working in a fast-paced and professional office environment;
• be able to multi-task, prioritise well and be highly organised;
• have excellent administrative skills;
• be able to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds;
• have advanced knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs;
• be able to maintain confidentiality;
• be a great team player who is flexible in your approach to the tasks assigned;
• be adaptable and resourceful, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for improving processes.
