Unmissable opportunity for an experienced Accounts and Outsourcing Manager in a Top 20 UK accountancy firm

Your new company
On behalf of our client, a prestigious UK top 20 accountancy firm, we are looking for an experienced Outsourcing and Accounts Senior Manager to join their London office. This role is within the Business Services Group, a dynamic team that primarily serves owner-managed businesses and clients in the sports, media, and entertainment sectors. This position is client-facing, fast-paced, and includes advisory responsibilities, often involving famous, high-profile clients!
Your new role
The responsibilities in this role are diverse, encompassing typical outsourcing tasks such as VAT returns and management accounts, year-end compliance including corporation tax, and various ad hoc duties. These can range from assisting and training clients with their accounting software, managing tour accounts, handling property purchases, to addressing banking matters and providing advisory services.
This is a permanent position ideal for an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience in accounts, VAT, and management accounts. The role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance client management and supervisory skills.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be ACCA or ACA qualified with experience in a similar accounting and outsourcing role. They should possess strong client engagement and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel is preferred, and knowledge of Xero is essential. Familiarity with other accounting systems, including cloud-based platforms such as Dext, Sage One, and QuickBooks Online, is advantageous but not mandatory.
A natural team leader and manager, the candidate should have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, an excellent eye for detail, and experience in the sports and music industries. Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise both their own workload and that of team members are essential.
