Oracle/SQL Developer

We are looking for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to strengthen our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of our applications and databases. You will work in a dynamic IT environment, collaborating with a skilled and experienced team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• You will develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code to meet business needs. This means writing clear, efficient code to ensure that our systems work smoothly and handle all necessary tasks correctly.

• You will handle transactions in the Oracle database and make sure that data is processed safely and reliably. This includes ensuring that updates to the database happen correctly and that data is not lost

• You will analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance. If any SQL queries are slow or use too many resources, you will improve them to make sure everything runs faster and more efficiently.

• You will use tools like Redgate Source Control and GIT for managing code versions. This helps ensure that changes to the code are tracked

• You will provide ideas and suggest improvements to the development process. You will take initiative in identifying areas where we can improve,

Your Profile

• You have strong expertise in PL/SQL development, with solid experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries to meet business requirements.

• You have experience working with Oracle databases, including handling transactions and ensuring data integrity, reliability, and accuracy.

• You have knowledge of collections, object types, and bulk processing, allowing you to handle large datasets efficiently and improve performance.

• You have experience with version control tools such as Redgate Source Control and GIT, ensuring proper management of code and easy tracking of changes.

• You have experience with SQL performance optimization, allowing you to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements that enhance database performance.

• You have the ability to work independently, show initiative, and approach tasks methodically while being a collaborative team player.

Fluent English is required with Dutch is a plus.
