Operational Risk Analyst

We are currently working with a global financial institution to recruit an experienced Operational Risk Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development and implementation of risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Identification and Assessment - Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential operational risks within various business units.
• Risk Monitoring and Reporting - Develop and maintain risk monitoring systems, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of risk metrics.
• Policy Development - Assist in the creation and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Incident Management - Investigate and analyze risk incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for mitigation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Data Analysis - Utilise data analytics tools to identify trends and patterns in risk data, supporting proactive risk management.
• Training and Development - Provide training and support to staff on risk management practices and policies.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management within the financial services industry.
• Experience is execution in quality assurance and 2nd line of defence reviews
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
