On call GP - Rotherham

Our client, a reputable primary care practice in Rotherham, is seeking a skilled On Call Doctor to join their dedicated team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified medical professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. As the On Call Doctor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients. You will manage a diverse caseload, handling both routine and urgent queries, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Field and manage urgent queries from health professionals, staff, and patients
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for pre-booked and urgent appointments
• Carry out routine and triaged home visits, sharing workload with other GPs
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and maintain clear communication with the team
• Be readily contactable during visits and ensure mobile phone is charged
