Qualified Social Worker - Older Persons Mental Health Team
Bridgend
up to £35 per hour payrolled via an umbrella company
We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join Bridgend County Borough Council for an initial 3-6 month period while a member of the team. This is a full time position offering hybrid working; 3 days per week required on site. You will be based at Glanrhyd Hospital.
The team provides support to individuals over 65 who come under secondary mental health services under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010, as well as individuals under 65 diagnosed with dementia whether they are in primary or secondary mental health services.
Ideal candidates will have experience of working with older people with mental health needs but we are happy to receive applications from candidates with adults services experience. You will need to hold a relevant social work qualification and be registered with Social Care Wales.
To apply for this role, you will need to hold -
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
