Office Manager

Black Box Planning Central Bristol Full or Part-time Up to £28k (Pro-rata)

We're looking for an organised and proactive Office Manager to support the smooth running of our office at Black Box Planning; a dynamic property development consultancy based in the heart of Bristol. In this role, which is open to full- or part-time candidates, you'll work closely with our directors and team, contributing to the business's operations while supporting a positive and engaging workplace culture. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Keeping our office running smoothly by handling everything from invoices to office budgets
  • Ordering stationery and managing day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Organising company events, including transport and accommodation arrangements
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to promote a positive workplace environment
  • Ensuring policies are up to date and everyone's on the same page
  • Assisting with HR and finance tasks, administering payroll
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency with MS Office - especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A proactive, self-starter with strong organisational and time management skills
  • An eye for detail with a friendly, can-do attitude
  • Basic accounting knowledge & experience with Xero is a plus (but not required)
  • Experience in the town planning sector is a bonus (but not essential)
