FRS are seeking a Bookkeeper for a well-established SME located in The Cotswolds, close to Moreton-in-Marsh.
Ideal candidates will be seasoned Accounts professionals who have previously worked in SMEs, handling a full spectrum of transactional finance tasks and collaborating with external Accountancy firms that prepare the company's month-end accounts.
Additionally, the position demands a candidate with robust customer service abilities. Frequent interaction with customers and guests on-site is expected, and, as the business is family-owned, there is a high standard of customer service to uphold.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing both the purchase and sales ledgers
- Processing a small monthly and weekly payroll
- Conducting a limited amount of Credit Control
- Issuing invoices and distributing them to customers, addressing any related queries
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Supporting an external firm with audit and month-end processes
- Greeting guests on-site - this role requires a personable individual with exceptional customer service skills
