Entry Level Office Manager

Reed are delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and growing research institute who are at the forefront of revolutionising clean growth within the mining & refining sectors through their innovative technology. This role is integral to the day-to-day operations of the company's Headquarters and offers a chance to grow within a fast-paced science start-up.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Assist with various aspects of the day-to-day running of the company, including Facilities, HR, Finance, and general administration.
  • Utilise organisational and software skills to manage office tasks efficiently.
  • Show independence and initiative, complete tasks thoroughly, and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Represent the company professionally in customer-facing interactions.
  • Contribute to the business and have the opportunity to expand on areas of interest, growing your role within the company.

Required Skills:

  • Graduate with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, willingness to learn, and contribute to all aspects of the business.
  • A proactive attitude and hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business 365 and openness to learning new software packages.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a business, civic, or charitable organisation.
  • Ability to form good relationships, resolve conflicts professionally, and work independently.

Essential:

  • University degree
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an administrative based role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of payments, procurement, Facilities Management, and general Health & Safety.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
