Job Description
Experienced Nursery Teacher Required for a long-term teaching post starting in January 2025

Hays Education are currently supporting a large two-form entry primary school in Widnes to recruit an experienced nursery teacher for a two-term contract starting in January 2025.
The school is welcoming applications from ECTs and experienced teachers.

You will be working in an Ofsted "Good" school where you join an experienced and welcoming teaching and support team who work hard to create an engaging and safe environment for children to flourish.
Your new role
As an Early Years Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds during their crucial early years. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:•Planning and delivering engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas (physical, social, emotional, and cognitive)
• Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Assessing and tracking children's progress
• Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the overall nursery experience

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Experience using delivering phonics interventions.
  • An up-to-date DBS or willingness to get one.
  • The ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
