Remuneration: £7,200 per annum

Duration: minimum 15 days per annum; 3-year term to 6 years in total

At Fair for You CIC, we're redefining ethical lending - offering fair, affordable finance to those who need it most.

We are one of the biggest Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in the UK. As a charity-owned 'social lender', we provide affordable and ethical credit to financially excluded families across all four nations for the purchase of household goods and essential services. Our Mission is simple: to change lives through better lending.

Over the past decade, we've transformed the lives of 100,000 customers and created an estimated £1 billion in social value. Our impact has also led to significant new investment, enabling us to scale and expand our support to thousands of new customers.

With two existing Non-Executive Directors' tenures coming to an end in mid-2025, we now have an opportunity for two dynamic and values-driven NEDs with expertise in retail and strategic finance, to join our Board. You will help us scale, strengthen an ambitious portfolio of new retail partnerships, and shape and ensure robust compliance on a more diverse lending portfolio.

You will be willing to act as a subject matter expert, and bring your passion for social impact using innovative models to deliver life-changing support to those in need.
