About Hallhouse Care HomeHallhouse Care Home is a well-established, purpose-built care home set in the picturesque village of Fenwick, East Ayrshire. We provide residential, nursing, and respite care for up to 47 residents, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

We take immense pride in the exceptional standard of care we provide, reflected in our Grade 5 rating from the Care Inspectorate. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to maintain these excellent standards, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere where both residents and staff feel valued.

Your Role as a Care Assistant:You'll be a valued member of our team, ensuring residents receive the best possible care and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care - Assisting residents with daily routines while promoting independence.
  • Health & Wellbeing - Monitoring health, reporting concerns, and liaising with nurses and families.
  • Social Support - Encouraging social interaction and creating a friendly, engaging environment.
  • Nutritional Assistance - Supporting residents with meals and hydration.
  • Comfort & Safety - Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.

What We're Looking For

  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience in care - Ideally 6 months, but we welcome those with a passion for caring and transferable skills.
  • A caring and compassionate approach - Genuine interest in working with older people and delivering high-quality care.
