Network Field Engineer - Cat5/Cat6/Fibre/R&S/Access points/GPON/XGSPON

A longstanding Service Provider is constantly on the look out for talented Network Field Engineers.

Contract or Permanent

Location: UK

Key skills:

• Installed infrastructure such as IT Racks, CAT 5-6 cabling, fiber cabling and patching.
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting network Routers, Switches, Firewalls on the LAN/WAN and Datacenter network infrastructure.
• Setting up and troubleshooting DSL & 4G-LTE Routers, Switches, Wi-Fi Access Points, PoE injectors, and patching communication cabinets.
• Conducting pre-installation site audits to collect data on demarcation points, cellular data coverage testing, communication room inspections, IT hardware installation locations, and cabling needs.
• GPON and XGSPON builds, out of hour migrations, network upgrades in fiber exchanges, datacenters and cabinets.
• Familiar with circuit ordering and WAN DWDM/MPLS deployments.
