.NET Developer

Inspire People are working in partnership with Tracker-RMS, a cloud-based Recruitment, Applicant Tracking and CRM software provider serving the Recruitment industry who are expanding due to major investment. This is an opportunity for a pro-active Software Developer experienced in C# or VB.NET to join a growing engineering team working on the latest serverless and Azure based technology. Remote working with offices in UK and USA, salary of £65k-£75k with training & development opportunities and unlimited holiday.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be developing and enhancing applications based on or around the core Tracker CRM/ATS SaaS platform. Tracker immerse themselves in most of today's leading edge technologies to deliver market leading software so this role requires both solid experience and a willingness to embrace this new technology.

Responsibilities for the .NET Developer include:

• Proposing, developing, coding, implementing, validating and documenting software solutions in accordance with the company's coding standards
• Supporting timely and efficient products transfer from development to production
• Providing customer support, investigating issues and implementing bug fixes
• Improving, in collaboration with peers, the development of in-house processes and skills

About you:

We are looking for a pro active, self starter and innovative developer who has a commercial outlook and the following skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Experience of improving user experience/development of user Interfaces over a period of time
• Working knowledge of Source Code Control systems and Bug Tracking Tools (desirable)

Plus working knowledge of a combination of the following languages and technologies:

• Microsoft C# or VB .Net/Core/Standard MVC 5 (essential)
• Entity Framework (desirable)
• SQL Server/T-SQL Query Building (essential)
• HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript (essential), JQuery and Bootstrap (desirable)
• Visual Studio and DevOps (desirable)
• Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture (desirable)
• APIs and web services (highly desirable)
