Neighbourhood Team Leader

Location: Ealing

Salary: £50,574 - £52,584 per annum inclusive, (Grade 12)

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Council's Resident Services department for a talented and hardworking Neighbourhood Team Leader. This role involves leading one of their Housing Hubs to deliver a comprehensive housing service. They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can improve outcomes for Ealing residents by providing a customer-oriented service in alignment with Council values and objectives.

This role is deemed customer-facing, and as such, you must have a command of spoken English sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other Neighbourhood Team Leaders, council departments, and external agencies.
  • Maximise opportunities through enhanced partnership working and co-location of services.
  • Support staff in achieving their targets and ensure their training needs are identified and met.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Substantial housing management experience across multiple tenures.
  • Experience of managing a small team in a customer service environment.

Desirable Attributes:

  • A passion for leading a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Confidence in people management, with a track record of motivating and supporting a busy team.
