Job Description

Nature Conservation Ranger

Location: Various Parks and Open Spaces in Redbridge

Salary: Up to £28,542 per annum.

Type: Permanent - 40 hours.

We are looking for an experienced, talented and driven individual to join our successful Nature Conservation Team.

Our Parks and Opens Spaces span across the London Borough of Redbridge offering unique and tranquil spots of nature within an urban community. From parks, forests and country parks, our sites offer a range of opportunities for you to contribute to the Nature Conservation management across the borough.

This is an exciting role, with nature at the heart of everything we do.

Job requirements:

• Contribute to the Nature Conservation management withing Parks and Open Spaces across the borough

• To hold an excellent communication and organisation skill set

• Ability to work with a range of different groups from leading Volunteers to Project planning/delivery with stakeholders

Essential requirements:

• Experience of working within a Nature Conservation setting

• Enthusiasm to lead volunteer groups, help deliver projects and push for a greener future for the borough

• An understanding of Local Authority/Local Government
