Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MuleSoft Developer to join our integration team. As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and efficient integration solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Mule runtime engine.

  • Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to gather integration requirements.

  • Develop RAML specifications and design API-led connectivity layers (System, Process, Experience APIs).

  • Implement error handling, logging, and performance tuning for Mule applications.

  • Deploy and manage MuleSoft applications using CloudHub or on-premise Servers.

  • Ensure code quality, reusability, and compliance with development standards.

  • Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD integration and automated deployments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain documentation for APIs, workflows, and technical designs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in MuleSoft development and integration projects.

  • Strong knowledge of API development, RESTful services, and message transformation.

  • Proficient with DataWeave, MuleSoft Connectors, and API Manager.

  • Experience with RAML/OpenAPI, JSON, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).

  • Understanding of integration design patterns and enterprise messaging models (eg, publish-subscribe, point-to-point).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

  • Familiarity with OAuth2, SAML, JWT, and API security best practices.

  • MuleSoft Certification (Developer or Architect) is a strong plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other integration platforms (eg, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services).

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

This role is 95% remote with occasional travel to the client site in Switzerland, expensed by the client. The first initial contract will be until the end of the year.
