Location: Largely remote with client in Belfast

Rate: £500 a day (Inside IR35)

A global IT consultancy are looking for an SC Cleared MuleSoft Developer to join their team, working with a public sector body on a large-scale digital transformation program. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions that connect multiple enterprise systems, applications, and data sources. You will work on cutting-edge API-led connectivity, enhancing the organization's agility and scalability.

You will:

• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft APIs and integrations to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Create and maintain RAML and OpenAPI specifications for RESTful APIs.
• Ensure best practices in API security, governance, and performance optimization.

Your skills and experience

• 2+ years of experience in MuleSoft development (Mule 4 preferred).
• Strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
• Ideally proficiency in DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, SOAP, and RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors, transformations, and message processors.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-prem hybrid integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) or higher.
