MSI Technical Project Manager - MSI, CSCS, BACnet, BMS, CCTV - Full-time, London

As an MSI solutions manager we are looking for a candidate to lead our MSI deliverables on large projects to ensure that the MSI scope of works is delivered and implemented to meet and exceed client expectations. The candidate will be the point of contact for our large MSI projects and provide technical management to manage clients and stakeholders through the design and delivery process of our MSI projects

Technical Requirements
The candidate must have the following demonstratable experience:

• Proven track record working on large construction projects preferably with an MSI role or input.
• Experience of liaising with the wider construction teams such as main contractors, design team and client.
• Experience producing MSI documentation such as schedules, interoperability Matrix's and coordinated points list
• Has relevant technical accreditations and qualifications.
• Broad understanding of common building systems that the MSI interfaces with such as Lighting, BMS, CCTV, EACS etc.
• Knowledge of common building protocols such as BACnet, MQTT and API interfaces.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook.
• CSCS card holder.

• Ensures quality control of design activities on projects and ensures the company quality standards are upheld (ISO 9001 Quality Control System).
• Provides feedback on working methods, efficiency improvements etc. to the Engineering Manager.
• Attends project handover meetings from sales to engineering.
• Attends design meetings on and off site as and when required.
• Ensures projects are delivered to a high technical standard.
• Ensures design complies with the contract documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Ensures ad MSI design is completed in time to meet deadlines for client approval, CAD, software and panel manufacture.
• Produces required MSI documentation such as devices schedules and naming.
• Sources technical information from manufacturers and suppliers as required
• Creates and submits requests for information (RFIs) to client, ensuring receipt of a clear response and subsequent incorporation of any changes into the design documentation.
• Creates and submits technical submittals to client, ensuring incorporation of any comments into the design documentation prior to manufacture.
• Identifies to the project manager any design changes which may constitute a variation to the contract.
• Checks and approves all drawings created by the project CAD design engineer(s) prior to client issue or manufacture.
