The role based in NW London is for a full-time Move Manager to join a very busy removals sales department. You will be 'hands on' in this fast-moving environment and this will suit someone that has an interest in world geography.

Removals experience is highly desirable. Shipping experience will also be considered for the right candidate.

Job purpose:

To finalise Sea, Courier, Air and Road shipments to destinations worldwide and support the Removals Sales Department as required.

Responsibilities:

• To input Sea, Courier, Air and Road shipments to destinations worldwide

• Inputting client information onto Management System

• Filing inventories/ customs forms electronically and checking scan quality

• Ensuring clients have completed the correct forms and adhered to restrictions for the relevant customs authority

• To obtain payment for shipments

• To maintain storage files and obtain payment

• To maintain control of all unshipped consignments and move to storage as required

• Issuing invoices to customer

• Liaise with clients re Invoice dispute and provide resolutions

• Maintain confidentiality and discretion

• Answering calls from external and internal customers within 5 rings

• Liaising with courier companies, destination shipping agents and our warehouse and export teams playing your part to ensure our customers shipping process runs smoothly

Skills, knowledge & experience:

• First class communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent organisational skills and time management

• Excellent telephone manner

• Excellent computer skills especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Adaptable to the various tasks required

• Well presented, reliable and punctual

• Experience in a high-volume Admin, Invoicing or Accounts role would be advantageous

• All training and support will be given to help succeed and flourish within this key department
