Elevation IT are currently seeking a highly experienced Lead mobile application developer with industry experience in Android and iOS development to lead a talented team on behalf of innovative and rapidly growing telecoms/communications business based in West Yorkshire.

West Yorkshire - Hybrid

Salary £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

• Demonstrable Android development experience, mixed experience in Java and Kotlin
• Use of the NDK
• Android UI development
• Google Play Services
• iOS development
• Git source control
• Systems architecture and code design patterns
• Leading a team of developers
• Communicating ideas effectively and clearly with team members and management
• SDLC concepts
• Android Studio

Desirable skills:

• Real-time protocols over an IP network
• Integrating with a wide range of Android devices, including smart phones as well as ruggedised (tough) devices, screenless devices and vehicle mounted devices
• Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Designing for battery optimisation
• Kiosk and MDM solutions
