Microsoft Client/Workplace Engineer (German Speaking)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Microsoft Client/Workplace Engineer (German Speaking). The role is permanent position based in Aargau Canton & comes with good office allowance.

Your role:

• Work within an existing Windows Client Engineering team & hold joint responsibility for the operation & further development of Windows Software Distribution.
• Automate & further develop the installation & update of operating systems, drivers, applications & processes within systems using central management tools & scripts.
• Handle 2nd & 3rd level incidents & sustainably address underlying problems.
• Support the existing team in the operation & support of an endpoint security platform & implement security-relevant changes & measures.
• Design & operate new solutions in the Windows environment.
• Utilize Intune & Modern Cloud Technologies.
• Potentially take over as a technical lead & further development the service (Service Management & Strategy, Process Ownership, CSI).

Your Skills & Experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of Windows Client Engineering, Software Distribution, Mass Administration & PowerShell Scripting.
• Experienced in Automation, Software/Application Packaging & System Administration using Configuration Management Tools for a larger number (500+) of managed endpoints.
• An in-depth knowledge of the current Microsoft Windows Client Server Operating Systems.
• Ideally experienced in Cloud & Modern Workplace Technologies (including Intune) & dealing with interfaces (REST).

Your Profile:

• Completed University Degree in the area Computer Science or Similar.
• Precise, methodical, self-motivated, customer-oriented, a high level of initiative & very good communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a good command of German (to at least C1 level) are mandatory requirements.
