The company:You will be joining a nationally based company in the transport trade, being a part of their engineering team based at either of their 3 depots all around the Colchester and surrounding areas. Offering flexibility on hours, overtime and earning potential, this is a great role for a qualified Mechanical Vehicle Technician to join a progressive company.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Diagnosis, repair, and regular servicing of company vehicles

Prepare vehicles for the annual tests.

Attend breakdowns as required.

Processing vehicle defect cards and all legal paperwork in line with the company and DVSA guidelines.

Process relevant documentation and reports following repairs etc.

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:

Educated to a NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering proficiency.

Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding skills.

Experience in a similar role with large vehicles.

Ability to work to specifications and guides.

Able to work in a team or alone.
