We are recruiting for an HGV Mechanic NOW

With up to six months temporary accommodation available to help you settle in,this may be an excellent opportunity for you or the whole family to enjoy the range of outdoor activities on our doorstep in Fort William, West Highland, Scotland.

As a member of our experienced team of HGV Mechanics and Technicians, you will be involved in a varied and interesting Mechanic role which involves diagnostics, repair and maintenance on the company's fleet of Volvo trucks, but also including Scania & Mann, trailers and small plant.

QUALIFIED OR EXPERIENCED HGV MECHANIC OR TECHNICIAN

• Own tools
• Strong communication skills
• Effective team player

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect & maintain fleet of vehicles and trailers
• Filling in paperwork and records as required for the role
• Maintaining workshop housekeeping
• Travelling to sites to deal with breakdowns

REMUNERATION

• Salary: up to £17.60 per hour basic & £19.28 overtime, £52.22 weekly on call payment + £17.98 callout payment
