Your new role
Position: Part-Time Maths Teacher
Working Hours: Wednesdays
Employment Type: 0.2 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
Location: West Sussex
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo a new DBS check.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
