Marketing and Communications Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting an Global Development organisation in their search for a Marketing and Communications Manager, joining an exciting and vibrant organisation to lead the communications and marketing function. This is a full time, permanent role based in London (hybrid).

Working closely with the CEO and the fundraising team, the new Marketing and Communications Manager will lead the communications and marketing function and strategy, ensuring it aligns with the fundraising strategy. The postholder will manage Action Syria's annual communication plan and calendar, taking the lead on all day-to-day communications, content creation and social media tasks, ensuring that the messaging is impactful and consistent across all platforms. The Marketing and Communications Manager will also develop brand guidelines and build effective relationships with media to build the organisations presence.

To be successful, you will have experience of strategic communications and marketing, including the development of marketing plans. You will have demonstrable experience of generalist marketing and communications, including digital, written and storytelling. You will have experience of social media management, with knowledge of design tools. You will be a positive, proactive candidate with excellent communication skills to build relationships internally and externally. Although not a necessity, experience of the charity sector, and understanding of charity fundraising would be desirable.
