Your new role
As a Manufacturing Logistics Engineer will involve developing and leading the overall logistics strategy for materials, from procurement to distribution. You will implement lean methodologies to optimise inventory levels and minimise waste, analyse logistics data to identify inefficiencies, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials. Additionally, you will design and develop innovative transport stillages and packaging solutions, provide logistics and engineering support to production, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise factory output and reduce costs.

What you'll need to succeed
Is a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Logistics Engineering, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or logistics environment. You should have a working knowledge of ERP systems, BOM management, and logistics forecast and planning systems. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is essential, and experience in change management using Lean Sigma tools and methodologies is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a continuous improvement mindset are crucial for success in this role.
