Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts aligned with production schedules
  • Prepare management accounts, monthly reports, and financial statements
  • Assessing production wastage
  • Analysing weekly P&Ls
  • Analyse and manage cost of goods, production costs, and variances
  • Oversee stock valuations and monitor inventory levels for accurate reporting
  • Investigate and report on variances between standard and actual costs
  • Monitor cash flow impacts related to procurement and production cycles
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit preparations
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and procurement teams
  • Maintain and update standard costing models to reflect accurate costs

To be successful you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: -

  • Qualified/ Part Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
  • Manufacturing sector experience
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • Business partnering experience
