Flowers has been assigned exclusively to assist in the search and selection of a high calibre Management Accountant to support the growing needs of a fast paced business based in South Derbyshire.

The Role

You'll be working in a small team, reporting directly into the FC, providing key support to a broad range of responsibilities from transactional processing, basic to complex reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, journals, supporting month end management accounts production. There's also the development of analytics and associated reporting as the business needs evolve.

This is an exciting time to be joining this business but it's also time of positive change, growth and the challenges that go with both.The CandidateYou don't need to be studying however AAT Level 4 / PQ Cima or ACCA would be an advantage. Essentially, you'll be a well rounded and reliable safe pair of hands when it comes to undertaking the tasks above. Experience is a must and vital, however the company will also invest in you too.

We're looking for somebody who is comfortable doing the basics but brilliant around the nominal ledger, reconciliations, management account, unpicking the detail & putting it back together again.

Technically, both system and accounting, you need to be excellent including relatively advanced excel capabilities.

Salary guide £40k, study support is of consideration, pension scheme, parking onsite. Some flex on hybrid working / working hours is available but to be discussed once you're settled into the role.
