Maintenance Engineer - Belfast - Shifts - Salary £46150

Your New Role
Working as a maintenance engineer you will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for providing engineering support to the production team.
Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems • Investigate, root cause analyses and resolve problems relating to machines and provide support for process and quality issues • Ensure all related documentation & record keeping for the shift is up-to-date • Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support the planned maintenance system • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and requirements • Take Health, Safety and Environmental ownership of themselves, others and activities within their areas of responsibility and raising all HSE concerns they become aware of, outside their areas of responsibility, with relevant managers.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Education Attainments
Essential: Time-served qualification and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role.
Desirable: Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
Job Experience
Desirable: Experience within a production/ manufacturing environment • Shift working hours • Mechanically biased.
Specialist Knowledge / Skills
Essential: Good written and verbal communication skills • Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems • Good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag-chain and auger feed systems• Experience in troubleshooting and fault-finding.
Desirable: Forklift licence

Essential: Highly motivated • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure • Practical and logical approach to problem-solving with good attention to detail • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to data and information • Strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative, work on their own and as part of a team • Strong interpersonal skills • Excellent communication skills.
Circumstances
Essential: Flexible and adaptable • Good attendance, timekeeping & disciplinary record • Full driving licence and access to a car • Prepared to travel to various sites.
What You'll Get In Return
This role offers a comprehensive salary of £46150 for working x3 12-hour shifts per week on a 4-week rolling pattern. The regular working hours are 6-6 across days and nights with NO Sunday work. The salary is underpinned by a strong benefits package and considerable training and development opportunities.
