Our client, a Local Authority in the Glasgow region, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join their Maintenance department for 3-6 months initially. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient management of trade jobs, maintaining effective communication between trade staff and customers, and collaborating with tenants, staff, and contractors.
Your new role

Quality Control and Technical Support: Oversee quality control and provide technical support for reactive repair services, annual servicing, maintenance, and stock improvement projects within the Association.

Coordination of Repairs: Manage void property repairs, medical alterations, and insurance repair works.

Asset Management Contribution: Support the organization's Asset Management Strategy by conducting stock condition inspections.

Communication: Utilise both traditional and modern communication techniques to liaise with contractors, residents, and co-workers regarding the progress and issues related to reactive repairs, maintenance, and stock improvement projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous maintenance assistant experience
  
• HNC Construction or similar or a Trades background

What you'll get in return

• £25.48 Per Hour
