• Application Database Design and Build - Create database objects by building Model as per business requirements

• Backup and Restore

• Monitoring, Space Management and Alerting

• Capacity Planning - estimate required capacity and

• Performance Tuning

• Planning and maintenance of reorganization processes

• Production Support and problem management

• Planning and execution of software upgrade activities

• Taking care of documentation and quality assurance

• Support of our developers with regards to database topics

• Expertise on the mainframe (JCL, REXX) and in data base management and administration for DB2 or Adabas

• Basic knowledge of mainframe development languages and processes

• Enjoy working independently

• High interest in new topics within mainframe and in interaction with the mainframe
