Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in M365 technologies and delivering Azure services. Previous experience working within a consultancy supporting customers implementing cloud technologies and M365 services would be beneficial.Growing function within a strong business with plenty of scope to progress as the business grows. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and ongoing support.
- Conduct assessments of existing cloud environments, identifying opportunities for optimisation and cost savings.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are met across all cloud deployments.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies, including but not limited to Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, data protection, and compliance standards.
- Experience with cloud migration projects and a deep understanding of the challenges and best practices involved.
- Ability to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly desirable.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools, including PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
