Job Description

Legal PA - Employment Law for a specialist Employment Law Firm in the City supporting Partner level. £45,000 + Hybrid working 2 days at home.

Legal PA and administrative support to Partners, fee-earners and to deliver pro-active support to the Marketing and Operations Director, displaying a strong focus on exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities Providing administrative and secretarial support including assisting on specific projects. Word processing, typing and collating correspondence and other documents, amending and formatting documents quickly and accurately. Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and matters, including processing KYC and AML checks and preparing engagement letters. Maintaining diary systems including arranging and booking internal and external meetings including client lunches and dinners. Arranging travel and hotel requirements for fee-earners. Handling expense claims for fee-earners. Scheduling archiving and retrieval of files from storage. Managing front of house and client and internal meeting rooms including meeting and greeting external clients / visitors. Assisting with organising internal events (e.g. client lunches and dinners, social events). Ensuring fee-earner capacity trackers are kept updated. Arranging couriers, redirecting post. Assisting with resolving any routine business operations problems as part of the overall support team. Assisting with IT admin / equipment set up / return for new joiners and leavers and ordering new equipment for existing staff, when required.Skills and Experience Prior experience in a legal secretarial role / prior secretarial / PA experience in a fast-paced City environment is desirable. Strong, accurate typing skills (65+ wpm). High proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), together with the use of house styles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong proofing skills. Pro-active with a strong ownership approach to the operational work-flow. Good judgement and ability to work on own initiative.
