£27,702 - £39,477 pro rata

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our College seeks to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to complement our existing delivery team as Lecturer Early Years and support the delivery of the Childcare T-Level provision.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Early Years/ Primary vocational qualification and hold or be willing to work towards level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
In addition to this, applicants will have recent and relevant experience/knowledge of the EYFS and key stages 1 and 2 with knowledge of assisting teaching within an education or childcare setting to support the delivery of the Childcare T-Level
Recent relevant teaching experience along with a recognised teaching qualification is considered advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided from our outstanding teacher education department.
Qualifications
• Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject such as Early Years/ Primary vocational qualification
• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
• Formal Teaching Qualification (Cert Ed/ PGCE / BA Ed) - Desirable
Skills:
• Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of subject area
• Experience in post 16 education / training including curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation
• Experience of working within the post 16/HE sector supporting learners
• Recent and relevant industry experience in sector
• Experience in post 16 education / training including curriculum design, delivery, assessment and evaluation
• Recent relevant teaching experience with good or outstanding observation grades
• Recent and relevant experience/knowledge of the EYFS and key stages 1 and 2
• Knowledge of assisting teaching within an education or childcare setting
