ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Learning and Development Manager will be to drive performance and quality within our homes through delivery of quality assured training to our teams. You will ensure we have a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • To provide excellent line management support to the L&D Team within your division. Ensure all team members are empowered to deliver the full performance expectations of their role and have access to all CPD requirements.
  • Assist in the identification of learning needs by utilising the LMS, working collaboratively with the wider L&D team and business operators.
  • Conduct periodic training needs analysis for your division in collaboration with the Head of L&D and the operational and quality team.
  • Ensure all homes have a robust training plan in place to evidence ongoing learning opportunities for our regulators.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required as we are proud to offer a thorough induction and training programme to ensure confidence within your role.

Our ideal candidate must:

  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training or willing to work towards
  • Teaching/Training qualifications in relevant topic area, linked to specialist topic area.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CQC and the key lines of enquiry
  • Excellent work ethic, team player and good interpersonal skills.
