Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning and Development Consultant to join the Organisation Development and Learning team on a temporary basis until Jan 2026. This post is within an established team and the contract is offered on a hybrid working pattern.
As a Learning and Development (L&D) Consultant, you will provide high-quality L&D advice, guidance, and support across the Council, specifically supporting Adult and Children's Services and Public Health, but with the potential to support other projects across the team. As the trusted expert, you'll shape and deliver impactful learning interventions, build lasting relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the Council's vision.
What you'll need to succeed
CIPD qualification or equivalent HR/L&D experience
Strong project management skills and strategic thinking
Proven ability to design and implement learning solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel to produce reports
Experience with Learning Management Systems
Experience working within an allocated budget
