Are you a passionate Test Automation Engineer ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role?
I am working with a leading product research and development company, that is seeking a talented Lead Test Automation Engineer to join their team.
You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of industry-leading products, including lighting control, LED video processing, and motion control solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement robust test automation frameworks
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Collaborate with development teams to identify system requirements and ensure code quality
- Maintain and optimise test environments to achieve maximum test coverage
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python or a similar programming language
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with BDD and Gherkin syntax
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Postman, Froglogic Squish, and Unit Testing
- Knowledge of Ethernet, TLS, and video standards
- Previous experience with lighting or video products
- Project management or team leadership experience
