Position Summary

The Lead Specialist, Sales Force Effectiveness will help to define, lead, and implement the Salesforce effectiveness & CRM execution strategy across MBD globally. The role is a key driver of revenue growth through having a clear vision on how the function drives revenue performance with accountability for execution, training and adoption of tools & processes the ideal candidate will have a strong sense of opportunities for growth with a passion to understand, develop, improve, and align sales data and processes to better guide teams in setting and driving sales strategies.

What will you do?

  • Work with Commercial Operations director on strategy development & deployment of sales force effectiveness program aligning to commercial strategy across revenue of $700M + annually
  • Define best practices, new tools & technologies to accelerate sales team success (e.g. opportunities to use AI, machine learning, digital marketing data)
  • Overall global accountability, focus on EU & EM, with dotted line responsibility for NA SFE specialist to ensure alignment
  • Help to build robust roadmap in collaboration with Sales, IT and group partners to focus on enhanced user experience, data insights & standard work enablement
  • Partner strongly with Sales Operations & Sales Training teams to deliver best in class sales enablement experience for our sales teams across the globe
  • Ownership & ongoing maintenance of master sales playbook 'The Code'
  • Continually evaluate and make recommendations on new SFDC-related technologies to support commercial priorities.
  • Develop & implement governance policies, procedures & process to ensure data is high quality & maintained effectively
  • Partner with sales leaders to provide content, training & support for sales meetings to drive understanding of value proposition & adoption.
  • Design, build & roll out dashboards to track sales force effectiveness strategies & tool utilization
  • Set up & maintain commercial operations bowler to track effectiveness of the function
  • Provide project management & PPI guidance & resources to wider commercial operations & sales teams on key initiatives

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years + of relevant work experience
  • Extensively used and managed certifications desirable
  • Proven ability to assess technology needs, design, and roll out to a large user group with high engagement.
  • Field or inside sales experience a strong plus

  • Strong commercial orientation with a passion to understand, develop, improve, and streamline sales tools to better guide sales teams in setting selling strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, experience with organization change management & coaching teams to deliver outstanding performance
  • Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record to manage complex projects.
  • Effective at generating enthusiasm and action around and idea or solution to gain support and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Ability to implement new technologies that support customer success, commercial productivity, and revenue generation.
  • In depth practical experience of process improvement methodologies with significant tangible results
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for results, skilled at asking questions for a deeper understanding.
  • Adept at challenging the status quo to identify organizational needs, investigate, and implement new technologies or processes to support commercial ambition.
  • Able to analyze and interpret data elements and make recommendations for change/improvement.
  • A great teammate with a bias for action and driving projects to fruition.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including Sales & Functional leaders at all levels as well as subject matter experts and end-users.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
