National Crime Agency

On behalf of the National Crime Agency, we are looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect (Inside IR35) for a 3 month contract based hybrid role twice a month in Birmingham.

Note: SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, (as a minimum you will need to eligible for SC)

The ICCM, JICC projects require a Lead Enterprise Architect to ensure the solutions for these projects are fully integrated with the existing infrastructure and that the solutions themselves meet the Agency's requirements. The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for producing high level designs for the projects that meet the demands of the business. They are also responsible for the integration of suppliers designs with the Agency's designs so that it provides an integrated and seamless service to the end users. The Lead Enterprise Architect will work with the Project Managers for ICCM, JICC and Body Worn Camera and take direction from the International SLT as well as the broader Agency architectural team.

On a day-to-day basis the Lead Enterprise Architect will create and reviews designs, work with business representatives to analyse business requirements, build solutions for complex business challenges and build and tailor the technical infrastructure to meet the demands of the business.

Essential Skills:

Security Cleared to SC Level

Requires extensive knowledge of designing and implementing Azure Test and Production environments.

Experienced in leading a group of solution architects and providing them with direction and guidance in implementing a cloud solution.

Experienced in working with the business and senior technical stakeholders to understand the Agency's challenges and provide robust and security compliant solutions.

Knowledgeable in delivering an end-to-end service to business stakeholders.

Experienced in working with senior delivery managers on as aspects like project schedule, budget and scope.

Able to assist in monitoring the progress, quality and costs of project.

Experience of Azure alerts and metrics, Azure Functions and Logic Apps.

Good knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipeline methodologies.

Extensive (10yrsplus) experience in Cloud, Networks and EUD.

Extensive experience in Design and Security.

Considerable experience in large Central Government Departments.
