Kubernetes Engineer - Openshift, Linux - This is a long term contract opportunity requiring profound Openshift and Linux knowledge for our Basel based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters within an OpenShift environment using GitOps practices
• Developing and implementing strategies for container orchestration, scaling, and management
• Supporting development teams in the adoption and efficient use of container technologies
• Utilizing Shell Scripting, Python, or Golang for automation and management tasks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges related to containerization
• Providing third-level support and design input for OpenShift and container-based solutions in an enterprise environment

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes
• Fluency with code management solutions, particularly GIT, and proficiency with CI/CD tools
• Openshift is highly desirable
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, and/or Golang for automation and Scripting
• Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration
• Proven track record of providing third-level support and design input in an enterprise environment
• Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken
