We are looking for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their team on a full-time basis as a KS2 classroom teacher. In this role, you will inspire a love for teaching and bring the enthusiasm and energy needed to make a positive impact on children's lives.
About your role as a KS2 Classroom Teacher
You will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum. Some of your duties will include:
•Curriculum Implementation: Deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring that all subject areas are covered effectively.
•Student Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback and reports to support their learning journey.
•Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organised and disciplined classroom environment that fosters respect, cooperation, and a positive attitude towards learning.
•Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students, including those with special educational needs.
•Parental Communication: Establish and maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, sharing updates on student progress, and addressing any concerns.
•Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching practices, educational technologies, and curriculum changes.
•Extracurricular Involvement: Participate in and contribute to school activities and events outside of regular teaching duties, such as clubs, sports, and school trips.
What you will need to succeed
•You will need to hold a Qualified Teacher Status and the right to work in the UK
•Experience working within a primary classroom, especially within KS2
•Good behaviour management and organisational skills
•You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays
