KS1/KS2 SEN Primary Teacher (Mainstream School)

Full time - Permanent

Outer London MPS-UPS £36,413 - £53,994 per annum

Bexley, London

April or September start

We have an exciting opportunity within our Specialist Provision at our Bexley Primary School. We are looking to recruit a KS1/KS2 Class Teacher. This will be in a small mixed age class of 10 children with additional TA support. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children who have SEND and enthusiastic about celebrating individual personal and academic achievements.

As a school we aim to ensure our children are well educated, proactive, resilient, happy and healthy individuals who have been cultivated to have a love of learning which will create a solid knowledge base along with the skills to enable them in all their future endeavours. Ofsted rates the school Good with Outstanding elements, commenting on the "strong progress" and "enthusiastic learners who talk with great confidence about their learning". They recognised that the school's work "to promote pupils' personal development and welfare is outstanding".

We are looking for a KS1/KS2 SEN Primary Teacher who has the following experience and qualities:

  • All applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status obtained in the UK
  • Worked or trained in a UK Primary School
  • Experience of working or supporting students with SEN in mainstream or special schools
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner and would welcome applications from teachers that reflect our diverse community.
  • ECT applicants are welcome as well as those experienced Teacher
  • All applicants must hold a degree and have experience teaching the National Curriculum in England
  • We would prefer experience of teaching primary age ranges
